Hold me...
Just to prove how much of a masochist I am, I finally broke and decided to sign up for the A-Z Challenge. Yeah, I'm nuts. I have a full-time job, a 3 year-old daughter who is turning my hair grey, and a little guy on the verge of crawling (maybe even walking) in the next few weeks, a yearbook to complete, a book to finish editing and change over from 3rd person POV to 1st, and I signed up for something like this.
Hold me!
But, it'll be good for me. Once I figure out a theme, it will be easier.

In other news, I have to give one more shout out to WIP: THE MOVIE blogfest hosted by Kyra at Write Here, Write Now and Rachel at Writing on the Wall.
It was a blast participating in the challenge, and wonderful getting to know everyone's characters, theme-songs, and movies.
I also wanted to give an extra shout-out to Kyra because I was her winner. Yay! It was a great surprise to get to work and find that out this morning.

Can you figure out a theme for me too, haha?
ReplyDeleteCan hot guys without shirts be a theme? Lol. Probably not what they had in mind for the challenge.
DeletePahaha, I am kind of dreading the A-Z challenge, but hopefully I can get through it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats again on winning the blogfest! :D
Thank you! And yeah, Kyra (I don't know why I keep calling you Kara - sorry about that) I'm kind of scared, but I'll get through it.
DeleteCongrats on the blogfest! It was a super fun one!! Good luck with the A-Z challenge, I will also be participating so I am sure I will see you around the posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and I'll keep my eyes out for your posts. It should be a challenge, indeed, to come up with 26 things, but I'm determined to do it.
DeleteGood luck with the A-Z. April is always really busy for me, so I'm also being a bit of idiot in participating. Still, like you said, it will be good for me.
ReplyDeleteWe can do it! I think...I hope. Yeah, we can. :nods head nervously:
DeleteThat's great and good luck with the challenge! And good god when did you get all though followers, hunnie! That's frickin' awesome :D
ReplyDeleteThanks x 2! I commented on a lot of blogs and followed a lot of people, and they reciprocated. Yay, I have followers! :D
DeleteI gave up on the idea of doing a theme before I eve signed up. I'll be lucky if I just get to post every day!
ReplyDeleteI'll be lucky to post every day, too, but I'm sure going to try.
DeleteIt's good to stay busy, though a three-year-old will fill that bill nicely...
ReplyDeleteYeah, she's driving me a little batty. I think that's why evolution has made them so cute - so you don't kill them.
DeleteGlad you're on board! I've participated all three years and it's the most awesome blog event ever. You will make so many new friends.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm nervous, but looking forward to trying it.
DeleteWow, there are an amazing amount of participants! They won't include me though. :) More power to you.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you're one of the smart ones. Let's see how well I'm doing mid-April. :D
DeleteYou're a pro! You can do it! We've got faith in you.
ReplyDeleteI'll link to your post in my next Sunday Summary.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll look out for your link. :D
DeleteHi there! Am your new follower and am also signed up for the A-Z Challenge. Should be fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you, and welcome! I just reciprocated!
DeleteI'm doing A to Z too - have all my ideas, just need to get writing the posts.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing? I'm trying to get ideas. Lol.
DeleteCongratulations :)
ReplyDeleteI am doing the A - Z too and have begun following you. Everyone is so supportive, I'm very sure you'll manage! Do you have an idea for a theme? You can do it :D
Nikki – inspire nordic
Welcome! I don't have an idea, yet, although it may be connected to books I've read or books I wanna read.
DeleteI decided the A to Z challenge is too much for me! I'm amazed at how many are doing it though. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog, but I love the Thursday 13 posts and will be back.
Welcome and thanks! I'll keep an eye out for you!
ReplyDeleteJaycee, hot guys without shirts would make for an entertaining theme for the A to Z Challenge. At least you can find joy in knowing that no other participant is likely to have the same theme that you are blogging on! So, consider that if you are looking for a theme that is quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteYou could also try to write about authors from Tucson, but then again, you'd have to find 26 of them that coincide with the alphabet....maybe you could do Tucson YA Fiction books or blog about different areas of Tucson that remind you of a novel that you once read in your lifetime.
If all else fails, check out the A to Z Videos that I submitted for the A to Z Video Challenge....they are FULL of blogging prompts that help get your idea engine going, which can make it easier to find a theme that you could work around your schedule.

Thanks for the ideas and for stopping by, Nicole. I'm still going back and forth on some ideas, although I have a specific theme chosen for Saturdays that will be different than others.
DeleteHey Jaycee,
ReplyDeleteI specialize in holding ;-) Not kidding. Touch is my love language. Posted on that at some point at my blog (Life is Good) and I have a search gadget, so I'm pretty sure you could find it. Since you've got nothing else going on in your life right now...(Sarcasm is my super-power and smart-ass is my side-kick, just warning you!)
Seriously though, welcome aboard the challenge. Make it your own. If you stay true to who you are on any given post, then just do that for 26 days and you'll be fine! This is my second year, and being a co-host has been SUCH fun. I hope they ask me back next year. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog as I'm your new follower.

ReplyDeleteSwinging by from the A-Z Challenge!
I'm sure you can do it! There's one consolation - there are approx. 1150 people already signed up... so you're not alone... talk about "mass madness" *giggles*
