A-Z Challenge is almost here!

While I still plan to do my 'He Said, She Said' posts on Saturdays, I think I've settled on 'Idioms and their Origins' for weekdays.  I don't know about you, but I've always kind of wondered where some of our stranger expressions come from.

Seriously.   Why do we say things like: I got his goat?  We'll go Dutch?  I smell a rat?

Come visit my blog during the month of April and find out the etymology of some of our stranger American proverbs and colloquialisms.

  3. Thank you! I'll intersperse it with some other stuff, but will have fun posting info about idioms.
