Liebster Award!

Yay, I received another Liebster award, this time from Alyssa at Life is Good!

The Rules...

1. Post 10 facts about yourself.
2. Answer 10 questions the tagger has given you and give 10 questions to the people you've tagged.
3.Choose 10 people and link them in your post.
4. Tell them you've tagged them.
5. Remember, no tag backs!

Well, my ten facts...(I'm starting to run out of new ones)

1.  I graduated from NAU.

2.  My in-laws are taking us to Hawaii next summer (so freakin' excited!) where they will renew their wedding vows after 50 years of marriage.

3.  I can't draw for crap but get all flattered when my students tell me I'm a great artist.

4.  I used to ride a motorcycle all the time before I became a parent.  Haven't been on one since I got pregnant with Sephy.

5.  I'm pretty sure that when the Greeks said that ambrosia was the food of the gods, it was a mistake in translation and they actually meant chocolate.

6.  I've ceased drinking anything but coffee these days.  I know it's bad for me, but I can't stop.

7.  I drive a blue Toyota.

8.  I'm having homemade Mac 'N Cheese with bacon and broccoli in it for dinner (can you tell I'm running out of ideas, yet?)

9.  It's storming outside, so I unplugged my laptop and am about to run out of power.

10.  I think The Wiggles, Yo-Gabba-Gabba, and The Upside Down show are totally creepy kids show.  And my daughter LOVES THEM!  Gag.

The questions I must answer:

1. What's your favorite sport?  (To watch or to do.)
Not a sports person, although I enjoy Hockey once in a while.  Oh, and roller derby.  We have a local league, and I wanted to join, but it's hard to do anything for myself when I have young kids around the house.  Maybe in a few years.

2. What genre do you write in?  And if your not writing a book, what genre do you like to read in?
Contempt and Sci-fi Romance.

3. What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
I do not watch scary movies, but the Exorcist freaked me out pretty bad as a child, hence why I don't watch scary movies.

4. What was the happiest moment of your life?
When I found out I was pregnant with my first child.

5. What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas!

6. What book are you reading right now?
None, although I have millions on my TBR list.

7. What superpower do you wish you had?
Death ray eyes, so when someone pisses me off, I can do more than glare.

8. What is your favorite drink?
COFFEE!

9. If you could make a wish come true what would you wish for?  Be honest.
Win a million+ dollar publishing contract.

 10. If you could be a character in one one of the books you've read, who would it be?
Rose in The Vampire Academy books, because she is made of AWESOME!

Okay, my ten questions:

1.  Are you a dog or cat person?
2.  An asteroid is headed to Earth.  It's going to strike in 24 hours, and there's no Bruce Willis and his oil crew to save the day.  How do you spend your last day?
3.  What's your favorite scent?
4.  Spiders or rattlesnakes - which one is scarier?
5.  Worst movie you've ever seen that you still kinda love.
6.  Do you believe in Aliens?
7.  Name one blog you consider a must-read?
8.  Book you're really looking forward to coming out?
9.  Favorite fictional character of all time?
10.  The top item on your bucket list?

  2. Roller derby is cool. The first time my friend and I went, it took a while to figure out their strategy and everything. It was a lot of fun. Those ladies are tough too, getting bumped and bruised.

    1. Yeah, I've been to some games and talked to some of the local ladies, and they're pretty tough...I think I've got what it takes, though. :D

  4. You have to be a badass to be a roller derby chick! I think they are awesome! You should totally give it a go one day! And one of these days I'm going to read the Vampire Academy books. I bought the first 2 but they've been sitting on my shelf since.

    Thanks for the award!!!!!

  8. They definitely meant chocolate. And coffee has anti-oxidants, pretty sure I read that somewhere.

  10. Aw, now that my girls are older, I miss watching Little Bear, he was my favorite! The Wiggles or Yo Gabba, never a fan, and neither were my kids, thank God!

Some days, I wish I had an IV line of coffee, going straight into my arm. And how gross is that? LOL

You are going to LUUURVE Hawaii. My kids beg The Husband and I to take them back there pretty much every day. Best vacation EVER.

Thanks for the award! I will be posting on it soon.
