I want to thank everyone who participated in The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Blog Hop! I think I've gotten to everyone except maybe a few people whose posts weren't up when I went to check- if I've left you out, let me know! And let me just say, I'm having the hardest time picking one...plus, I hate picking just one because people feel left out. I really enjoyed reading everyone's post, so I think everyone is a winner...I just can't afford to give prizes to everyone. :(
Our winners will be announced on Tuesday!

In other news, I got an award! Thanks to Sherry Ellis for giving me this lovely award!
Name five of your most fabulous moments,
either in real life or in the blogosphere
1. The day my husband proposed to me. It was Christmas day, and he super-taped all my presents. I was (soft)cussing him out in front of all of his family for doing it – and the last present was a ring. It’s a favorite story of the family.

2. The day I got married.
3. The day my daughter was born.
4. The day my son was born, although this one
was bittersweet and terribly frightening because I was hemorrhaging and there
was a chance we could have both died. He
spent 9 days in the NICU.
5. This one I’m not allowed to talk about…but it
might be something fabulous.
Name five things you love
1. My husband, kids, dogs and family.
2. Writing and reading.
3. Creating new things…
4. My laptop. What? I do. It's pink...and it's making me money. My ac adapter failed on me for a few days and I was soooo sad!
5. Scuba Diving.
Name five things you hate
1. Hypocrites

2. Drama Queens –
and any high drama at all. I preferred
the laid back lifestyle.
3. People who have nothing but negative things to say about teachers and call us lazy because we get vacation time, greedy because we want a livable wage, etc. – Things like this really incense me.
4. The smell of pesticides – the most revolting smell to me in the world. I can handle poopie diapers before I can handle the smell of pesticides.

5. Doing laundry. Thankfully, my husband does it most of the
time.

I love it! My most fabulous moment was my wedding day. I feel like I should mention the birth of my son, but that was really only fabulous in theory. The moment sucked.
ReplyDeleteI know all about the fabulous in theory thing. Both of my moments sucked and we're scary, but it was fabulous to get two beautiful little monkeys out of it. :D
DeleteWow, thanks. I've never had the fabulous blog award before. ^_^
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :D
DeleteLoved the bloghop, can't wait to see who the winners are! :D

ReplyDeleteand the fest was great!
Thank you, Tara! Glad you liked the answers and the fest! :D
DeleteI've never noticed/had a problem with the smell of pesticides. But I can no longer stand in the laundry detergent and household cleaner aisle for too long without getting a headache. I blame pregnancy and my kids for that. Never happened until after them. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I never used to get heartburn, but since having kids, I get it all the time. It sucks. :D
DeleteHey I've given you an award from over at my blog! :)

DeleteCongratulations! Eager to hear about the one you can't talk about.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Sadly, it's not writing related, but it is publishing related!
DeleteHippity hoppity! (I don't know why my muse divided to use that word, but she did. What choice did I have but to type it?)
ReplyDeleteI loved your answers. I can tell you are a romantic at heart and a great mama!!
Aww, thank you! :D

DeleteGood luck on the possible good news!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love my laptop for the same reason. The money, that is. Mine isn't pink.
ReplyDeleteI didn't assume it was. LOL. But yes, making money while spending time on the computer is good. :D I love it.
