A thanks and an award!

I want to thank everyone who participated in The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Blog Hop!  I think I've gotten to everyone except maybe a few people whose posts weren't up when I went to check- if I've left you out, let me know!  And let me just say, I'm having the hardest time picking one...plus, I hate picking just one because people feel left out.  I really enjoyed reading everyone's post, so I think everyone is a winner...I just can't afford to give prizes to everyone.  :(

In other news, I got an award!  Thanks to Sherry Ellis for giving me this lovely award!

Name five of your most fabulous moments, either in real life or in the blogosphere

1.   The day my husband proposed to me.  It was Christmas day, and he super-taped all my presents.  I was (soft)cussing him out in front of all of his family for doing it – and the last present was a ring.  It’s a favorite story of the family. 

2.  The day I got married.

3.  The day my daughter was born.

4.  The day my son was born, although this one was bittersweet and terribly frightening because I was hemorrhaging and there was a chance we could have both died.  He spent 9 days in the NICU.

5.  This one I’m not allowed to talk about…but it might be something fabulous.

Name five things you love

1.  My husband, kids, dogs and family.

2.  Writing and reading.

3.  Creating new things…

4.  My laptop.   What?  I do.  It's pink...and it's making me money.  My ac adapter failed on me for a few days and I was soooo sad!

5.  Scuba Diving.

Name five things you hate

1.  Hypocrites  

2.  Drama Queens – and any high drama at all.  I preferred the laid back lifestyle.

3.  People who have nothing but negative things to say about teachers and call us lazy because we get vacation time, greedy because we want a livable wage, etc. – Things like this really incense me.  

4.  The smell of pesticides – the most revolting smell to me in the world.   I can handle poopie diapers before I can handle the smell of pesticides.

5.  Doing laundry.  Thankfully, my husband does it most of the time.
