Sept 6th is Fight Procrastination Day...and 12 other days in Sept. to celebrate!

It's September 6th, which is FIGHT PROCRASTINATION DAY! Good time to finish some projects you've been putting off, especially for us writers.

Here are 12 more funky things that are celebrated in the month of September:

September 2 - NATIONAL BEHEADING DAY! (Eek!)
September 5 - BE LATE FOR SOMETHING DAY! (Wish I would have known that yesterday...well, this morning, since it's still the 5th here.)
September 10 - SWAP IDEAS DAY. (Another good one for writers.)
September 13 - DEFY SUPERSTITION DAY.
September 14 - NATIONAL CREAM-FILLED DOUGHNUT DAY! (Yum! My favorite!)
September 16 - STAY AWAY FROM SEATTLE DAY! (Poor residents!)
September 18 - PLAY-DOUGH DAY!
September 19 - BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING DAY! Blech!
September 22 - DEAR DIARY DAY!
September 25 - COMIC BOOKS DAY!
September 26 - GOOD NEIGHBOR DAY!
September 27 - CRUSH A CAN DAY!
September 28 - ASK A STUPID QUESTION DAY!

I left September 11th off because we all know what a sad day that is, but just so you know, it's also NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS DAY.  Works for me.

I found these weird September Holidays at:  http://voices.yahoo.com/weird-holidays-celebrate-september-586012.html

  4. Sept. 19 is also "talk like a pirate day". Much cooler than butterscotch pudding day. It also happens to be my birthday;)

  10. I've been waiting a while before posting here. Did I wait long enough to ensure I could get my procrastinator badge?
