The Laine Award and other updates in my life...

For the first time since April, I don't have a current design job or project to work on (at this second).  It probably won't last long, but I finished my last job last night.  I've been booked solid since April, so it's a little weird.  But I guess it means I have time to actually blog and write, so there's nothing wrong with that.  :D

Then again, if any of you have been thinking about using my services, now is the time to do it.  

After not designing a single WordPress theme for a client since when I first started my business, I ended up getting 4 WP/branding jobs in the last three weeks, so I'll point out some links:

1. What is your current beauty obsession?
Waxing.  Don't ask where.

2. What is the one beauty item you wish you owned?
It's nothing I wish I owned, so much as I wished I had the time to use one - a flat iron for my hair.

3. What is your favorite topic to read about?  
Anything with college students - hence the whole New Adult thing.

4. What inspired you to become a blogger? 
When I decided to start taking writing seriously (although I'd been doing it for years), I read about author's platforms and decided I better get to it.  :D

5. What nail polish are you wearing now?   
None.  I just scrubbed my nails clean last night.  Will probably put on this light purple color polish I won at my local RWA meeting from the raffle today, if I have time.
