A-Z Challenge: O - Oversized shirts, Overalls, and Oh, I forgot!

Well, in all my N hate yesterday, I forgot my absolute favorite thing that starts with N from my childhood - NKOTB!  But I found a way to make it relate to my O post.  But first...
From Like Totally 80's
First, we have the lovely oversized shirts, often called the Flashdance shirt, because the look was pushed into true popularity after the movie came out.

Now there's the other O thing that was awesome, and relates to my NKOTB topic:

OVERALLS!

And that was the 80s style, right there - one side hooked correctly, one hanging down loose.

I remember loving this picture, but I laugh when I look back at it.  Jordan, where the hell is your shirt?  Shirtless overalls were never a style.  But that's hardly the first or last fashion disaster my beloved boys made...you can check out a huge thread of them at this link.

Take care!

  3. Blast from the past. But they are welcomed. Look at NKOTB! Such hotties even now. I would totally rock that 80's look now. It's coming back.

  4. I loved the 80's weird clothes, bands, hair and all. Oddly, it still looks cool to me.

  8. These days I'm all about the oversized sweatshirts rather than regular shirts.

And yes, overalls. My goodness I cannot believe they were still a "thing" in the 90s. I know. My mother made me wear them.

  10. My best friend and I always hated NKOTB. I was shocked when, a few years ago, she actually went to one of their reunion shows, like she hadn't always made fun of them, and meant it, instead of secretly listening to their music. I did like overalls, and kind of wish they made them in adult sizes. These days, I've only seen babies and small children wearing them.
